The musical address by the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra to the Sechenov Medical Academy of Moscow on the occasion of its 250-year anniversary will be just another of the orchestra's numerous social projects. This high-minded activity of the ensemble includes performances in children's homes and educational institutions, hospitals and medical centres. The orchestra and its soloists annually present charity concerts in the MSU as part of the 'Rector Invites' project, as well as in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts and the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys.

The festal evening will feature pieces by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Alexander Borodin and Georgy Sviridov.
