Alexander Samoilov is one of the leading players of the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra. In 1977 he began his work in Vladimir Fedoseyev's Orchestra. Since then Alexander has been a permanent soloist in all the orchestra's concerts and performed the leading and important parts of the extreme complexity, such as M.Ravel's “Bolero”, N.Rimsky-Korsakov's “Sheikresada”, R. Schedrin's “Karmen-suite” and many others

Alexandr Samoilov has a diploma of the All-Union Variety Art Contest, has been awarded a few honorary diplomas, has participated in international festivals, premiers, has been repeatedly praised both by Russian and also European, Mexican and Japanese critics. He is a soloist of the ensemble established in 2000 and unique in its composition of two harps and the percussion, which has become popular not only in Russia but also abroad.
